~Since I might be able to get on the computer for a little bit (cuz I gotta ask to use it now) I might as well post this now~


Darkness. That's all there was. Complete and utter foreboding Darkness. I looked around, fear slowly creeping over me.
"Where am I? Koenma? Dante!? Dark!! Anyone!! Help!!" I cried frantically. The Toddler King appeared next to me and I felt relieved.
"Thank God! Where the hell am I, Koenma?" I asked. He frowned heavily.
"I had hoped this day would never come..."
"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked. He looked away, as if ashamed of himself.
"I'm sorry, Devin...But, I cannot help you here..."
"What are you talking about? Koenma, what's going on!?"
"Forgive me..." He muttered and disappeared. Complete terror gripped at my heart.
"No...Koenma!! Get your toddler ass back here!! Koenma!!" I yelled. I continued to look around.
Where am I? Is this Hell? No, if it were Hell, Spencer would be here...And I don't see him... I thought.
"I must be in my head again..." I mused.
"Correct~" A dark voice sang. My heart jumped.
"Who's there!?" I called. A figure started to manifest before me. Soon, it turned into a mirror image of myself, but with major differences. Her eyes were like deep pools of the darkest blood, glowing with a sort of malevolence. She was a lot more...Evil looking, for lack of better word. My eyes narrowed.
"Who are you?"
"I'm you, you silly girl~!" She teased. Her voice was a lot more velvety than my own, which sent a chill rocketing down my spine.
"How can you be me? There can only be one me..." I stated. I gasped softly when she appeared behind me, carressing my cheek.
"That is because I am your Darkness..."
"My Darkness? You mean like Kingdom Hearts?" I asked. She giggled a very dark giggle as she stepped away from me.
"I am far more threatening than your silly Video Games..." She stated. I huffed.
"Kingdom Hearts is not silly..." I muttered. I gasped when her thin fingers wrapped around my throat, lifting me off the ground. A dark aura radiated off her being as her eyes began to glow an even darker shade of red.
"I hold more power than you can even comprehend...!" She hissed. I grabbed her wrist, trying to pry it from my throat.
"Let me go, you evil bit-" Before I could finish, she tossed me aside like a rag doll. I coughed and wheezed, sucking in air greedily. She stood before me with a scowl and I glared up at her.
"The hell was that for?" I gasped. She examined her nails absent-mindedly.
"Just a sample of what I can do if you defy me..."
"Defy you? Who died and made you Ruler of my Life?" I snarled. She glared and kicked me hard in the ribs, causing me to cough.
"Don't test me, Wretch..." She hissed. I spat blood to the side and glared.
"Here's an idea...Bite me." I growled. She growled and kicked me hard again, causing me to tumble back.
"Make a Smart-Ass remark again...I dare you...." She seethed. I struggled to my feet and smirked at her, wiping the blood from my lips.
"Here's another thought for ya...Go to Hell, ya psycho bitch!" I challenged. She growled and thrust her palms forward, a black-ish blue flame racing towards me. My eyes widened as I stood threre like a deer caught in headlights.
"Don't be afraid!"
"You can do it, Devin!!"
"Go, Onee-san, kick her butt!!" The voices of my friends cheered for me. I closed my eyes, remembering all the wonderful memories I had with them.
"I promise, guys...I won't surrender to the Darkness..." I muttered. The flame washed over me and I slowly opened my eyes. I felt no pain, it was as if the fire could not hurt me. I giggle-snorted.
"Wow...That was such a KH quote and it worked! That's cheesey as all hell!" I laughed. The flame disappeared and I smirked at myself.
"Ready?" I challenged. She was frozen stiff as I ran at her, fist held up for the strike. My fist connected with her face and she flew half way across the darkness. She tumbled to the ground and gasped when I pinned her, my fist ready for another hit.
"Checkmate." I grinned. She closed her eyes and smirked, accepting her defeat.
"It seems you are capable to control me..." She mused. I smiled softly.
"You've been around forever...Sure, you can screw me over sometimes...But it helps to have you." I said. I got off her and helped her up. I smirked and gave a thumbs up. She smiled softly and saluted me.
"You pass."
"Thanks. See ya around...Yumi." I said softly. She nodded and every thing was shrouded in bright light. When I opened my eyes, I was in my room. I smiled softly and then grinned.
"Man, she's one hell of an alter ego!" I laughed.
"I heard that..." Yumi grumbled I laughed more and got up to start my day.
